Ayun, ang nakikita ko ngayon, parang I envision a future where yung LGBT representation, lahat na to. Yung sinasabi ko representation, parang kasama na yung experiences nila, yung what it takes to be LGBT librarian, what it takes to be a part of the LGBT community, ay hindi lang siya, parang hindi lang siya, not just acknowledges, but also, siguro, to be actively integrated doon sa LIS education, policies or leadership structure. Ma-integrate sana yung LGBT representation doon sa LIS education. If ganun yung mangyari, this may mean na more research on LGBT issues yung mapoproduce. Merong mas maraming inclusive curricula sa LIS programs and merong stronger policies na pwedeng mag-protect and mag-uplift doon sa LGBT professionals kasi integrated na siya sa education and doon sa policy body, policy making body, and doon sa leadership na structure. Pag mas maraming nakakakita nung plight ng LGBT, mas maraming nakakaintindi sa kanila. Kaya, mas marami yung mapuproduce na research, mas marami yung inclusive programs, mas ma-e-enhance yung mga policies, mas mapapatibay yung stronger policies nga para ma-protect yung mga LGBT professionals. And lastly, yung mga libraries siguro dapat they still continue, they should continue to evolve into a safe space or at least an affirming space hindi lang para sa patron, para sa mga professionals who work [for] them. Yung binanggit ko kanina, kasi parang, syempre yun nga, lagi natin gusto, safe space para sa mga clients. What if safe space naman para sa ating mga librarians. Parang, we should continue, the libraries should continue to evolve into a space where it is safe and affirming. Hindi lang para sa patrons, but para sa mga professional yung katrabaho dun sa loob ng institution.

Future of LGBTQIA+ Representation
